I’m putting the audio here of the video that is on YT of the same, only WMG decided that they were going to sabotage 4 hours of radio comedy for which they had already been paid for the few minutes of whatever it was on here – far beyond the numbers who have seen it. And it is not like the talk radio fans who watch Iain Lee are even all that interested in the music that is put on while he takes a breather. But such is the arrogance of the music companies, especially WMG, that they feel they have a moral right to sabotage these talk radio shows because their silly music is more important than what the rest of the world has to say.
Stop press: as the fellow fan who asked for this has now asked for a downloadable version, I am in a quandary: I do like people coming here to listen as it improves my stats, but I also do understand his health motivations for wanting it on something that can be placed on an ipod or similar and walked around with. I do the same myself.
So for those people, the way to go is to copy and paste this
to a new browser window. Play it, and then right click on the mp3 bar that comes up. Select your save option and the mp3 with end up downloaded to your hard drive, from which point you can handle it like any other podcast. HTH.

David, many people would want to thank you for making available the Playtalk shows in their entirety, including video. I am certainly one of them. I was one of those who were in at the start listening to the very first Playtalk show in Adelaide before Christmas 2008. It is all included in a massive arc of shows which now include most of Mike Dickin’s output and Tonny Boyd from 1995, stuff that is impossible to acquire now. I was saddened however by your siding with the skewed and self-important views of the “forum” and wonder how anyone could assess the “damage” to PRUK from such mediocre efforts as associated bedroom output from other forum inhabitants. I wasn’t aware of their existence until after the event. Of course, Playtalk failed due to criminal activity, not to loss of listenership. The forum still exists and remains a directionless entity, praying for the return of a similar enterprise. I am convinced that they would have ended up hating PRUK however it evolved being a group of nihilists. I disliked the introduction of the BNP, but I never rang up and made a racist joke; that is not a jibe, I assume you were being a character. I think we can all agree though that the naysayers had absolutely no effect on the dissolution of PRUK and did not detract from the moderate listenership which you seem to imply. Unless of course you have statistics to ratify your assertions. I again thank you for making available a classic series of shows in which the occasional “character” was shown the door verbally by Tommy, and I know we all want him back, but for different reasons.

Many thanks for your comment. The credit for these shows really has to lie with Stuart Heron, without whose making the hard drive available to me on which the caps were kept, I wouldn’t have been able to do more than a fraction of what there is here.
The “forum” as you call it had a number of different views, not one view, and was an outlet for listener creativity. Admittedly at times the atmosphere there could get a tad toxic, but in te main it was the metaentertainment around the main entertainment that was PRUK, and had no part in its demise, which as you say is down to business malpractice as far as we know.
