“Jimmy and the Pink Diamond” written and illustrated by LeeAnne Delehanty

Lee Anne Delehanty’s charming stories about the cat Jimmy and its Russian Raven friends was read with kind permission of the authress on YouTube by me in ten parts. The term “Daveynory” means that this is done in the style of the 1970’s children’s TV programme “Jackanory” – the children’s book was read as the camera panned the illustrations. That was the format of Jackanory, and that’s basically what you’ll see here, with me doing it, hence “Daveynory”.

Below is the whole collection in order.

Part One

Part Two

Part Three

Part Four

Part Five

Part Six

Part Seven

Part Eight

Part Nine

Part Ten

Watch this space for how you will be able to buy this book for your kids or somebody else’s ones. It is already published in Dutch as “Jimmy en de roze diamant”.
