New Developments On Huliganov.TV

You’ll see a slight make-over happening today on Huliganov.TV – mainly the changes affect the following areas:

1. The pink tabs have become blue at the sidebar, and the pink writing at the header has gone back to orange.

2. I have taken Calluna as the new font, hope you like it. I was getting a bit tired of the old one

3. The advertising which has been on here since July of 2018 I think gets a bit intrusive and so i switched it off for those who are logged in users of WordPress and therefore known to our site. These are my most valued interactors as you are the ones who leave comments and get into conversations with me, something which has gone down over recent months and I would very much like to get it back up again.

4. The adverts have been replaced with two new ways to support the blog directly for those who wish to do so. Either as a regular supporter/subscriber, which is the orange button appearing on some posts, or the one-off button for paypal appearing in the side bar and at the bottom of each page.

I have not designed yet the thank-you package for those who do this, but it will certainly entitle you to the e-books which are on their way for free and ahead of everyone else. I will also in due course have premium content and those who do contribute will get a bit more. The idea was always to make the Method available for free and everyone will get it for free – moreover it’s those of you who do kindly donate who are supporting my guarantee that all the basic stuff is free, unlike many people supplementing their incomes online who give you just a lot of marketing fluff unless you pay. Here you get all you need for free and just a bit of icing on the cake as a thank you for those kind enough to support, and that’s a different philosophy which I hope you will appreciate.

In the past, years ago, I took nothing, there wasn’t even a way you could have paid back then, but age is creeping up on me and I have dependents who are completely unable to earn. That’s why I had to change my mind on this and I hope most people understand that. Some people didn’t and went off in a huff, but so far most of you have been much more empathetic.

So, please give me your feedback, how the new look suits you.

Uncle Davey’s Herts Content S2 E15, Nicky Line!

Here is a full showing of the Nicky Line, a disused railway line connecting Hemel Hempstead, Redbourn and Harpenden, now a public footpath used for walks. On the way my family intercept me at Redbourn for lunch, and in the end I still have space for a little footage of Harpenden, a lovely small town where people take Australian lizards for walks instead of dogs!
