Drunk Moyon at Cash Machine

I knew he was going to say something ridiculous to me because he has been accosting people around and about, so I got my camera into stealth mode and filmed the idiot.

Some people say I shouldn’t make films that take the peace out of alcoholics, saying that it is an insult, but I say to that that nobody forced them to start drinking more alcohol than they could handle. no-one poured it down their neck. And besides, at least if we get some entertainment out of them, at least there is some use in them.

Snippets of Warsaw

Original YT playout date: 10 November 2009
Duration: 14:50

Here are a few odd bits that didn’t really belong anywhere else, that only had in common that they are from Warsaw. The first snow in Warsaw this year, cockroach infested Que Huong restaurant which cannot be bothered to let you know it is having a closed party until you come right up the staircase to it, the stupidly named Samsung Corby, and the ludicrous new trend in Mentos advertising. These are just some of the odd bits in this here fillum.

Prague Vlog #4 – Alphabet Man Golem

Original YT playout date: 11 July 2009
Duration: 1:08:53

“The result of walking in the wrong direction to where I thought I was going. This film contains some mistaken information, for which I blame imprecision in the guide book I bought: the Golem is not supposed to be resting in the place claimed in this film, but actually about 500m closer to the centre.

I encoded this at a higher level than I usually encode hour long films, and I hope it isn’t too slow coming through. If you do get what people in the industry call “”boofering””, then just press the paws button with one of your pause and go get an indeclinable coffee, or some tea with a soft semi-vowel stem, and it should be all right when you get back.

Featured in this film is the alphabet man sculpture outside the Rudolftherednosinum. If you should see on the current google satellite map the location of this, namely

geo:lat=50.08910985946328
geo:lon=14.415116608142852
(or, to make MsLoreley77 happy, that’s http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&ll=50.089082,14.41505&spn=0.001583,0.004726&t=h&z=18 )

then you’ll probably just see a poor attempt at making a yin and yang sign from assorted greenery. This is because the scuplture is new – for the Czech presidency of the EU. How long it will remain after I do not know, but hopefully it will stand the test of time. After all, the Eye-full tower in Paris was only supposed to be up a while, and they still haven’t taken that down.

I’m not an expert on the Czech Republic as it is my new country, and so I’m grateful for any local people who would like to comment on the films. Any Prague based youtubers wishing to appear in one of my Prague films are also welcome to declare themselves.” Continue reading “Prague Vlog #4 – Alphabet Man Golem”
