Don’t Give Up – song dedicated to Vaclav Klaus

Prague flat, Vaclav Klaus, own composition,

Original YT playout date: 17 October 2009
Duration: 3:32

Czech President Vaclav Klaus is coming under more and more pressure to sign the Lisbon Treaty. Because he knows very well, as many of us do, that this Treaty has been forced on us without due consultation – a small taste of the massive abuses of democracy to come – and therefore, being that rarity an honest politician, he is against signing it. But the elite who want to return the civilised world to medieval feudalism with themselves as lords and masters, only with much more advanced tools at their disposal, as well as push for a unified world Government under such Reprobates as Obama, Blair and their anonymous keepers, they are increasing the pressure for him to sign. The thumbscrews are on the Czech Republic now, and in order not to have to repeat Ireland’s punishment (namely total undermining of their economy), they are already reaching for the pen.

Great that they held out the longest, but what a pity to give up now.

My latest composition, which starts half way through this after my version of Telstar, is called “”Don’t Give Up””. I wonder whether any of my viewers wouldlike to suggest lyrics for this song in the comments section. If you write the best lyrics, then they’ll become the lyrics and you’ll be acknowledged as the writer of the lyrics.

Another piece wot I wrote

This one has words, but either the words aren’t very good, or I wasn’t comfortable singing and playing at the same time, or both. In any event, interested in your feedback for this theme.

To You, Who Soar on Eagle’s Wing – original Song for my wife

Original YT playout date: 13 April 2009
Duration: 1:29

To my wife, who is like an angel in human form, I wrote the present song (words and melody) in 2002 in Moscow.

I wasn’t able to play it very well, and I am still not very good at performing it – maybe some musicians out there can help me do a proper rendering of this composition? There are two verses here, but the whole poem was four verses long, and I cannot remember all of it. The chords given below are what they should be – the piano here is obviously not in that key, even before I chipmunked it!

1. To (C)you, who (G)soar on (a)eagle’s (e)wing

A(a)bove all (C)other (e)women,

To (a)you al(e)one this (a)song I (C)sing

My (a)heart with (G)love a-(e)brimmin'(E)

To (a)you al(e)one this (a)song I (C7)sing

My (F)heart with (G7)love a-(C)brimmin'(G)

2. The mountain lake and forest fringe

Are fair enough to view

But far beyond their beauty’s range

I hold the look of you

I cannot recall the third verse, which related to the sound and scent of her, but the fourth verse logically follows:

4. Because my senses you full fill

Good sense it seems to make

That I should love and love you still

And never you forsake.

And that’s exactly what I’ve done!

This may be crap but at least it’s MY crap…

Original YT playout date: 10 March 2009

… well, mine and Antonin Dvorak’s. But with the current spate of warningless Warner warbler warrings against “”their”” music appearing in films, this is about all I dare to upload these days! So, grit your teeth and, em, “”enjoy”” my variations on a theme from Dvorak’s Rusalka.

Eat this, WMG!
