Weekend in the Beskid Mountains

Original playout date: 26 October 2007
Duration: 13:15

“We had a little weekend in June away in the southern part of Silesia, in Szczyrk and here you can see glimpses of what we did and what we saw.

The southern tip of Silesia accessible by car is here:

The good place “Restauracja Dworek” by Piotrkow Trybunalski was a favorite for a while but these days whenever I drive down there I cannot seem to locate the turn-off. Google tells me it still works and calls it “Dworek Restauracja Biedron Pawlak” so I should be able to get navigated to it with that info, and I expect to visit again sometime this year.
Tanya has a temper tantrum, of the sort she used to have a lot, but thankfully not now.

Other remarks: I was supposed to be helping with the sale of the hotel we were staying in, and to be honest I never did manage to sell the thing, but I think in the end the owner was happy to keep it.
