Minsk, Belarus

Original playout date: 17 December 2007
Duration: 2:57

In 2004, Belarus, in one of its first Eurovision appearences, decided to sing in English, but I defy anyone to understand any sentient message in the entire performance. Quiet a catchy tune, though. It didn’t make it to the final and in fact Belarus rarley do, although one of their boys has won it for Norway. They have more luck with the Children’s ESC.

You’ll see basically just a gallery of images from my visit in 2007 to this interesting country. In fact in my opinion a very pleasant country. I will not say anything about the state f the democracy, as I am really not sure these days that we are any better.
