Windows on Warsaw

Original playout date: 21 December 2007
Duration: 9:59

“I think you’ll quite like this concept. All of these clips were taken before, during or after actual business meetings I had in Warsaw in the late Summer of 2007. I discovered it’s quite remarkable how many people in business actually take an interest in digital photography and video.

This will give you an idea about the skyline of Warsaw right now, the work that has been done, is in progress and has yet to be done on this city.”

Of course, if you go to the same place today you will see major buidlings both finished and in progress which were not even holes in the ground in 2007. That year had a lot of buidling going on, and so do we now. It all came to a grinding halt in 2008 of course for several years, but if you look at Warsaw now at the end of ten years from this video, you’ll still see plenty of change despite the credit crunch and property slowdown that lasted most of the intervening period.

Enjoy the soundtrack – more Armenian experimental music.
