Davey voices off on the Tommy Boyd show

This was from 7th Oct 2008. There had been some interesting calls already from Eduardo, and also a telephone interview with the pro lap dancing lobbyist society’s propaganda chief, and then I came on as Paddy O’Donahue making quite a serious point despite the humoroustick manner, which was followed up by Eduardo calling to state that my Irish accent was no good. This stung me into action, resulting in one of the most pleasant and entertaining conversations I’ve had with Tommy Boyd, in which I do about six or seven different accents, offer a remarkably unfunny joke, and we get to hear a very amusing prank call involving two Indian restaurants. In other words, radio gold! Happy to say some of these radio friendships have lasted, and even today, in October 2020, as I transfer this across to HTV, I had an entirely unscheduled interraction on Facebook with Eduardo. Radio brings people together.
