Is this a case of police brutality against GRT people, or what?

Please help me work out what is going on here. What languages can you hear and what are they saying? Where is this? What happened to the camera? What’s the reason for what’s going on here?
I witnessed this scene but I do not know any of the back story. Please consider what you see and hear and describe what you can tell from the footage.
Boiling water for twenty minutes is a pretty good way of getting rid of all the dissolved gases. Sure, the chlorine will go, so will the oxygen, the CO2 for the plants, the nitrogen, you name it.
Waste of time, money and energy
No need to boil the water, just shake it a bit and leave it to stand.
And you’ll have used quite a bit of electricity boiling the water, which you now need to re-oxygenise by pouring the water into a 5 litre plastic bottle three quarters full and giving it a good shake. Doing that a few times would have gone a long way to kicking the chlorine out anyway without losing the gases in the atmosphere from the water, and saved your electricity bill.
A more excellent way
If you are doing water changes nice and regularly and therefore in any given day are only changing something like 10% of the water, then the level of chlorine won’t upset most aquarium fishes too much. I never bother with it myself and the fish always look happy enough after a change. Warsaw Poland has a bit of chlorine but maybe there are places where there is a lot more chlorination going on, I don’t know. But if the water is safe to drink from the tap then a ten percent change is unlikely to upset most fish so maybe you are just making a rod for your own back…”
What do we make of apparent scriptural inconsistencies?
Original YT playout date: 22 August 2010

Some Christians pretend that the apparent scriptural inconsistencies just don’t exist, they try to ignore them and read on or brush them under the carpet. It is a way of faith, but not a way of very strong faith.
On the other hand, It is better if we can try to see what it is that the apparent inconsistency is intended to be saying to us. Maybe it is an error of translation in some versions, in which case we can go back to the original languages. This obviously doesn’t apply to the Book of Mormon, where you can’t do that. However, I don’t recommend treating that as scripture anyway. Or the Qur’an for that matter, where you also wouldn’t need to refer back to the original language as Muslims are supposed to be reading in it anyway, so that the nonsense doesn’t become evident on translation. How weak a faith is that, by the way?
Don’t expect to understand everything, but expect that in God’s time you will understand
So accept that some things appear to our logic irreconcilable, and try to work out what that teaches. There are doctrines, for example the doctrine of the Trinity, is a reconciliation of such apparent inconsistencies. If these seeming inconsistencies were not there to be reconciled, we wouldn’t have such a strong base for the doctrine.
The discussion here doesn’t start at that point, but develops in that way after a few minutes. Enjoy.
It depends. If someone had said they were interested before but you had a partner then, and gave that as a reason, then you could say something like “when you told me you were interested before, I had a partner and didn’t want to be disloyal, but that hasn’t worked out. It’s over. So if you are still interested we can go out”.
But if you are simply asking out of vanity then I don’t think it would be very nice to get the other person’s hopes up only to dash them again.
The golden meanie
In between those two extremes there lie all kinds of other scenarios, but I wouldn’t ask that person unless you are ready to go if they say “yes” and if you have a reasonable reason why you didn’t say yes before, such as that you had a partner then, or you were dealing with a stupid infatuation, or that you didn’t realise you has so much in common with the person. Or you thought they miht have been just joking around and now you hear they have a serious character and were probably not. Or you thought they were not going to be living in the area for long, or you weren’t going to be, and that’s changed. These are all reasonably valid reasons for changing your mind about someone’s approach.
“I said no earlier because I thought I had a chance with someone better than you” is a bad reason. I wouldn’t bother asking in those circs. Or “I didn’t know you were rich” is another bad reason.
Maybe the first step is to be honest with yourself as to what reason or reasons made you turn this person down before and what really changed. Then you can see if you can sell that reason to the other person.
Fragment from my Lecture “Importance of Properly Prepared Assumptions in Business Modelling”

What this lecture is for
This is the first hour of my lecturing this year (fourth year running) for the Cambridge Python project. It is an incubator scheme, which we do under the aegis of Cambridge University and the British Embassy in Poland. Students from all the Polish Universities can apply with a business idea. If they work hard they can take their idea through all the steps, and produce a business model using the method I teach them. These are the finalists who’ve already whittled themselves down to a lecture-room-full, and these teams get to present their idea to a panel of real business angels. If they can convince them to invest, then their dreams of owning their own business will become a reality.
First they need to go through very intensive training from me and also from people from the global Management Consultancy firm McKinsey & Company and do homework to ensure that their projects are really state-of-the-art. Now I would be the first to admit that these days this modelling is nothing so impressive, but it was very good at the time. These young people, those who paid proper attention, learned some serious investing skills and what I tell about assumptions is a good mental model which is reasonably timeless.
Why Cambridge pythons?
Here the lecture is hosted by the Polish Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Mathematics. The hall seats about 120 and was packed with finalists some of whom had come from distant parts of the country, and the session lasted three hours with one break.
Cambridge Python is so called because the Pythons of comedy came from Cambridge, but so does the idea of “pythoning”. Pythons are the only snakes that look after their young rather than leave them to fate. Therefore, business pythons are people who break the mould of the uncaring business dog-eat-dog approach and are ready to nurture young entrepreneurs on a pro-bono basis.
