An original song written by me (words and music) in 2002, while not living in Poland. Since then I moved back, and so I don’t think of singing this song of missing Poland so much, as obviously I’m here. This is a call home to all the emigres with their qualifications doing work which is punching well below their strength in countries they think are richer. I’d remind you of the words of Denver, where he talks about a man who “said he’d be a poor man, if he never saw an eagle fly”.
Lyrics:
I am singing this song
For the place where I long
to be. That’s Poland
Life is wonderful there
In the sweet forest air
That’s free, in Poland.
In the valleys of Wisla and Bug,
Nature’s beauty wherever you look.
There is plenty and peace
In this new land of ease
For me, in Poland.

Anyone else would have done two separate films instead of a double bill in order to double the hits, but I’m a fool to myself, sometimes, I really am…” Continue reading “Non Te Scordar Di Me”→
