It’s a pleasant Warsaw evening, just the ticket for a chat with another prolific youtuber, and Alan Heath (channel name “alanheath”) is one of Poland’s most prolific, and like me he is a non-Pole living here. He is also the provider of quite a few of the Viz letters, and so if you see the name Alan Heath in the letters page on Viz, yes, this is one and the same man!

This restaurant still exists but is now right next to the parliament, whereas at this time it was over in Ostrobramska street. That location has been redeveloped in the meantime for Polsat.

“This is an interview with Alan Heath who, like me, is an Englishman who has chosen to live in Poland and who has a channel on YouTube.

Alan’s passion is the history of the second world war, and in the course of his research on the matter has made the personal acquaintance of a number of interesting people, including the controversial historian David Irving, arrested three years ago in Austria and sentenced to prison and recently banned from the international book fair in Warsaw.
