We’re out on the terrace again, one of my favorite places to be, this time the Fuji is doing the filming even though I am on the computer and usually use the Logitech webcam in the computer for singing to. But I always used to keep on experimenting with new methods. But the reason is that this time I am playing the chords and singing to at the same time. This is because I didn’t like any of the available backing tracks I could find for this one.

Once again a nice memory of my late parents, and I am glad that there are these few snatches of them that live on. As indeed do the charming scenes of all three little ones so cute and tiny, and Elena walking around on her own. These were the days we thought would never end, and thanks to video, my friend, in a sense they don’t.

This was going to be a series of gardening videos and in fact it didn’t turn into a series in the sense that I normally do it. I might still do a gardening series one day, if only I could get the hang of gardening…

Just a nice simple video of a sunny morning and Sophie’s time in 2006 with her cousin Vika from Belarus. She was staying with Sophie over the Summer. Irina is teaching the girls to rollerblade, but they are falling about all over the place.

This short piece with me singing the crocodile song from Walt Dismal’s Peter Pan as Sophie rides her blow-up croc in the pool we had mainly for me, four years later, shows up the toys that really stood the test of time (we still have the slide and the plastic truck George is on, but the rocking-horse is gone. The croc is still with us and went to France this summer – where it would have stayed if I hadn’t intervened!). In the main there is far less stuff in general on the terrace – we didn’t have even room for a pool this year!
This has been watched quite a bit, and the stats have been steady at about 500 a month.
