Warsaw Marathon Part 1/2

Original playout date: 24 September 2007
Duration: 9:09

This is a year before my own attempt at the Marathon. This time I just came to film and watch.

The point about a marathon for all but a handful of the contenders is not to be the winner. Only one in 5,000 or so can do that, but to get a better result than last year, or even just to (still or for the first time) be able to complete the course, theoretically within six hours.

Quote of the clip: “They are the champions, my friend. As long as they make it, to the end. They’re all the champions”
